Our BSc Engineering (Hons)in Electrical & Electronic Engineering has a strong focus on building theoretical and practical based study, the BSc Engineering (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering provides appropriate technical knowledge in Electrical & Electronic Engineering including hands on experience in practical scenarios. The course is structured also to gain interdisciplinary problem solving skills, social awareness and confidence required to build outstanding high caliber engineers. In electrical engineering, our focus is on how electricity can be used to transport and deliver energy. It lights our homes, runs many of our domestic gadgets, and keeps the wheels of industry turning. It is such an established and reliable part of our lives that we take it for granted all too often, yet it remains a fascinating and developing field of study. Electrical engineering deals with the study of motors and generators and their control, power transmission and distribution systems, and the principles that underlie them. In electronic engineering, we look at how electricity is applied to carry, process and store information. This is the driving force behind today's information revolution and forms the basis of everyday devices like the mobile phone and the computer, as well as a huge range of systems used in commerce and industry. Electronics depends heavily on semiconductor technology, which has led to the invention of the famous microchip.

University of Kyrenia will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
