The Bachelor
of Science in Secondary Education (Social Science with History Option) is an
empowering program crafted for future educators who are passionate about
shaping how young minds understand society, politics, and the past. It bridges
the disciplines of history, geography, economics, and civic education with
evidence-based teaching practices that prepare graduates to thrive in modern
classrooms. Students explore both local and global historical narratives,
gaining insight into political movements, cultural evolution, and the social
forces that shape human behavior. Beyond subject mastery, the program
emphasizes critical thinking, communication skills, and inclusive education. It
equips aspiring teachers with the tools to foster dialogue, encourage student
participation, and guide learners through complex social realities. Whether
you're studying the roots of democracy or analyzing African liberation, you’ll
