Our
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering is a highly specialized,
research-driven degree focused on advancing both the theoretical and practical
aspects of mechanical systems. This program is designed to develop innovative
problem-solvers who push the boundaries of engineering knowledge and practice.
It typically begins with a series of advanced, specialized courses that deepen
your understanding of core subjects such as fluid mechanics, thermodynamics,
solid mechanics, dynamics, and control systems alongside electives that allow
you to delve into emerging areas like robotics, renewable energy, advanced
manufacturing, and nanotechnology. Central to the PhD experience is the
independent research you conduct under the guidance of leading experts and
state-of-the-art laboratories.

Sharda University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or student should submit
