This
program provides opportunities for students to critically analyse and evaluate
integration of technology within the K-16 classroom environment. Students will
examine barriers to technology integration in education environments with
implications for policy and professional development. Also, students will
become innovative educational leaders who are able to identify
future technology trends, evaluate digital tools, and lead
system-wide change related to technology integration in schools. As
part of this course, students will critically analyse the development of
inventive and advanced technopedagogical approaches to teaching and learning in
a school-based environment and plan and apply these approaches in their
classrooms. Students will examine barriers to technology integration in the
schools and college context with implications for policy and professional
development. Also, students will become innovative educational leaders who are
able to identify future technology trends, evaluate digital tools, and lead
system-wide change related to technology integration in schools.
