The missions of the Department of Mechanical Engineering are to educate effective engineers and scientists with an entrepreneurial and researcher's spirit, who are equipped with fundamental scientific and technical knowledge and ability to use modern technologies which are essential in the design and development of new theories and technologies for the realization of the devices, systems and processes needed by the society and the industry, and to conduct fundamental and applied research in collaboration with the industry and other institutions to reach new information needed by the society and essential for the design and production of advanced technological products and processes. We offer three undergraduate tracks: Advanced material, Energy technologies and Mechatronics.

English Language Requirement

Ozyegin University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
