Bachelor of Science in Special Education (PK–12) is more than just a degree it’s a calling for those who believe every child, regardless of ability or background, deserves a compassionate and effective education. This program prepares future educators to be champions of inclusion, empowering students with exceptionalities to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally from their earliest school experiences through high school graduation. Special educators serve as advocates, collaborators, and problem-solvers.  You will understand how to build equitable classroom environments where students with learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges can access instruction tailored to their unique needs. English Language Requirement

Concordia University Chicago will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
