You will be able to experience education in action during your time on placements throughout the course and our optional overseas trips will help you get an international perspective. All of these experiences will help you to uncover how external influences like beliefs, culture, and the surrounding environment can impact how children and adults learn, shaping their attitudes, knowledge and skills.
Explore current debates in contemporary education within a variety of contexts on our BA Education Studies and develop your understanding in relation to:” Sociology: society and social justice, inclusion and inequalities, sustainability, and global perspectives in education. Creativity: the Arts in different environments and educational contexts. Psychology: theories of learning, and child and adolescent development.
