Mechanical Engineering at Doğuş University: Mechanical engineering is divided into two broad areas: mechanical systems and thermal systems. Mechanical systems include the design, analysis, strength and behavior of materials. Thermal systems, on the other hand, involve the analysis of systems containing heat, energy or fluid motion. Such topics include thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, energy conversion, air conditioning and ventilation. You will apply what you have learned in these courses in your laboratory studies in experimental Engineering courses and learn the fundamentals of experimental engineering. In addition, areas of interest such as robotics, automotive, nanotechnology, energy, air conditioning and ventilation, production, control and automation.

Undergraduate student can work after they complete their first year at the university up 24 hours a week. Turkish laws allow students who graduate to apply for one year long residence/work permit.

Dogus University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre-sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
