Welcome to the MSc. Criminology and Forensic Science

The graduate program in Criminology and Forensic Science at UEHS focuses on conveying an in-depth, interdisciplinary knowledge of the areas on which the work of a criminologist is based, such as psychology (forensic, penitentiary, suicidology), law (criminal, civil, police, fiscal, international) or homeland security. You will get acquainted with detailed issues of the methodology of crime measurement or tactics and procedures of investigation.
This degree combines core modules in criminology and forensic psychology with optional modules on topics including drugs, trans-national crime and conflict, policing, terrorism and the major institutions of criminal justice. The programme is delivered within the Criminology and Sociology Department in the School of Law, with the forensic psychology component taught by colleagues with specialisms in criminological psychology.
The course is of special interest to those without a first degree in psychology but with a particular interest in psychological perspectives on crime and criminal justice. All staff delivering modules on the course are engaged in research that informs their teaching on the programme.

English Language Requirement

University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw  will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
