Welcome to the BSc. Business Administration

The objective of the BSBA program is to help students bridge the intersection where business, technology, and people come together. With a balanced mixture of business knowledge and information science students will be able to holistically blend modern management principles, best professional practices, data management techniques, business analytics, and computer scripting to address the needs of business in the age of ubiquitous data, ecommerce, and automation. During this degree, you’ll develop your understanding of the area of business administration and management. You’ll gain practical skills that will prepare you for a successful career in any aspect of business. You’ll develop knowledge, understanding, and subject skills related to the principles and practice of modern business administration. You’ll be prepared for employment in a variety of business-related careers and will have opportunities to gather experience and develop links with industry. You’ll gain a firm foundation in key areas of accountancy and finance, economics and business management to suit your interests and career aspirations.  

Career Path

When you graduate from the degree, you will be well-equipped for careers in business, management, consultancy and beyond, as well as for advanced academic study (including the Global MBA). Career roles includes Accounting Technician, Area Manager, Assistant Manager, Research Executive, Media Assistant, Audit Associate, Sales Associate

English Language Requirement

Southeast Missouri State University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.

If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
