About

The Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) program is an undergraduate degree designed to equip students with essential knowledge in financial management, accounting principles, and auditing. The program typically spans three to four years and covers subjects such as business and managerial accounting, corporate tax law, and financial reporting. Graduates gain a strong foundation in financial decision-making, bookkeeping, and compliance with international accounting standards. Students in this program develop analytical and problem-solving skills, preparing them for roles in accounting, auditing, and financial management. Thanks to an articulation agreement between UCW and the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) of British Columbia, students can transfer credit courses for direct entry into the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). This means your career is accelerated by taking the required CPA PEP prerequisite courses while getting your degree, instead of waiting until after you have your Bachelor of Commerce.
