Biomedical engineers develop and utilize advanced technologies to improve the human condition. Through coursework, students develop hands-on skills and competencies in engineering design, medical device regulation, project management, and teamwork while performing research in broad areas of bioimaging, drug-delivery, tissue engineering, biofabrication, and artificial intelligence. The thesis option is suited for students who are committed to complete immersion in the practice of biomedical engineering and research. Students will be equipped with the tools needed to make a difference in impactful careers within the biotechnical industry and health care. Conduct innovative research in such areas as cellular tissue, genetic and rehabilitation engineering, and medical imaging with guidance from your individual faculty mentor. Develop practical and new solutions through a combination of coursework in physiology and engineering science, train for interdisciplinary careers in medical technology, or pursue further studies in a related field. Students in the program develop deep technical skills through advanced biomedical engineering courses and learn about product development, intellectual property and commercialization. The programme will introduce you to engineering technologies and applications within the biomedical industry and provide you with knowledge of medical technologies and their application, with a focus on integrated medical devices, design and manufacture skills, and an understanding and practice of key concepts in biosensing and biofabricationThe programme explores advances in technology and engineering to generate applications and solutions to clinically relevant problems.

English Language Requirement
