The BSc.
Secondary Education (Science with Biology Option) is a specialized
undergraduate program designed for individuals passionate about both science
and teaching. This degree provides a solid foundation in biology, chemistry,
and physics, while simultaneously developing the pedagogical skills needed to
inspire and educate young minds in secondary school settings. By combining
rigorous scientific coursework with hands-on teaching experience, students
learn not only the key concepts in biological sciences but also how to
effectively convey these ideas to adolescents. Through practical training in
lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment, graduates emerge
well-prepared to foster a love for science among teenagers and help develop the
next generation of thinkers, researchers, and professionals. This program is particularly ideal for individuals who
envision a future shaping academic environments, empowering learners, and
contributing to national development through education.
