The
Advanced Social Media Productio-Auteurism one-year graduate certificate program
blends theoretical and technical learning, giving students the skills to create
a unique brand identity to drive activism, set trends and monetize its value. Students
develop diverse skills, including video content creation, writing and
marketing, to cultivate a personal brand and effectively lead a social media
team. This holistic approach enhances the creative and technical aspects of
content creation and prepares individuals for strategic leadership roles in the
dynamic landscape of social media production. Graduates will be well-equipped
to collaborate with media companies, contributing their expertise to branding
and content curation for various social media platforms in a range of roles,
including influencer, content creator and digital marketing consultant, among
others. The graduate has reliably
demonstrated the ability to: Apply camera and lighting production techniques to
create content for multiple social media platforms. Analyze issues and emerging
trends affecting the evolution of content creation as artistic and
entrepreneurial media to ensure productions meet the evolving needs of clients
and audiences. Develop social media production strategies in partnership with
clients to achieve promotional and marketing goals. Employ creative leadership
skills to direct content creation projects according to the auteur's vision or
brand. Critique scripts for social media content creation to meet project
requirements. Select production hardware and software solutions used in social
media creation to capture and edit content.
