About This Programme

The Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Mobile Game Development concentration is designed to lead students in preparation for a certification in Unity game development. Topics include simple game design concepts and structure, AI and intelligent behavior in Unity, Unity game development fundamentals, and technologies associated with augmented and virtual reality systems. Games Computing with Virtual and Augmented Reality programme is designed for students wishing to combine their study of Games Computing with a focus on the game technologies of the future. The programme aims to prepare students to contribute to the growing development and interest in extended reality, with a focus on interaction, immersiveness, and entertainment.

Eligibility Requirements
Post Study Work Visa

Undergraduate student can work up to 20 hours per week and full time during official school breaks and vacations. Post completion Optional Practical Training allows graduates to work for 12 months and STEM graduate are eligible for a 24 month extension.

English Language Requirement

Westcliff University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:

Pre sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
