Grade 8 (junior school final year) is
a transformative year for students, as they prepare for high school or
secondary education. This year focuses on strengthening core academic skills,
fostering leadership qualities, and encouraging independence. It is a pivotal
time when students take on greater responsibilities, both academically and
personally, while solidifying their readiness for the challenges ahead. Grade 8
is a stepping stone to higher education, helping students solidify their
academic foundations while fostering independence and maturity. It prepares
them to take on greater responsibilities and sets them up for success in high
school and beyond. Engaging with advanced texts, including novels, essays,
poetry, and informational materials, with a focus on analyzing themes, tone,
and authors’ techniques. Producing persuasive essays, creative stories, and
research-based assignments with clarity, coherence, and depth. Developing
skills to evaluate arguments, synthesize ideas, and present evidence-based
conclusions. Working with equations, inequalities, and linear functions.

proficiency requirement or English is designated as the primary and official
language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the
English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by
successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the school.
