Bachelor of Arts - Music

Students with a bachelor of arts in music will Perform and improvise music from a variety of cultures on a primary and secondary instrument at a level appropriate to the student’s needs and interests.  Articulate through writing, speaking, and other media an understanding of the theoretical, historical, and aesthetic frameworks of a variety of musics and musical cultures. Apply and integrate aural skills, analysis, and sociohistorical knowledge to the study and interpretation of various musics. As a student in our Music program, you will build a broad understanding and deep appreciation for a wide variety of musical genres and forms. In addition to the study of performance, music theory and music literature, you can explore other areas within music, such as composition, piano and vocal performance, jazz studies and so much more..

English Language Requirement

Webster University St. Louis, Missouri will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit
