BSc. Professional Studies - International Organizational Leadership

The Professional Studies program helps students prepare for management positions in the fields of information technology, healthcare administration, or business communications. The program is particularly designed to be beneficial for working adults who need to earn a bachelor's degree. This program concentration teaches about NGOs and non-profits, international law, political economy, intercultural communication, and international relations. The Professional Studies major can be completed online and consists of foundation courses in communications, statistics, supervision, organizational systems, organizational relations, and international context.

Career Path

The Organizational Leadership and International Organizational Leadership concentrations include a background for a variety of positions in the fields of business and communications. Positions that prior students in these concentrations now work in include: executive officer, financial officer, information officer, Compliance, Corporate recruiter, quality systems, strategic planning, Education administrator, Global trade expert, Health services manager, International team manager.

English Language Requirement

Middle Tennessee State University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
