The Associate of Arts in Communication Studies will provide you with a solid introduction to a wide-ranging field, equipping you with an understanding of communication theory and application. With an associate degree in Communications, you'll gain a proficiency in a variety of areas, ranging from resolving interpersonal conflicts to understanding the role of media in our society. Plus, you'll develop skills to create compelling messages for wherever your career takes you – business, journalism, politics, or nonprofit work. Communication skills are essential in both work and social settings. Oral and written communication skills are at the top of the list of qualities that employers look for in job candidates.
