Welcome to the Associate in Arts Degree (English) - Transfer

The Associate Degree for Transfer (AA-T) in English is designed: to introduce students to literature from a wide breadth of genres, eras, and cultures; to introduce students to the fundamentals of literary criticism and research; and to reinforce students' skills in writing and analytical thinking. The AA-T in English prepares students for a wide range of career pathways since the program emphasizes close reading, effective communication, and critical thinking.
