The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Real Estate provides students with the knowledge and skills to make intelligent decisions in the acquisition, ownership and disposition of real estate. This degree provides entry to mid-level proficiency for real estate agents, brokers, property managers and appraisers. The program also provides enrichment opportunities for escrow officers, loan officers, building contractors and land developers.
The Real Estate curriculum is designed to provide the student with the courses necessary to master the basic facets of the real estate industry. The curriculum appeals to all students interested in the real estate business, but it also is designed to prepare students for professional certification as real estate salespersons and brokers.

Students who pursue a certificate or degree in real estate seek employment in: Residential brokerage, Commercial brokerage, Property management, Appraisal, Apartment locating, Mortgage lending, Title services, Inspection, and Government or corporate services.
