Grade 9 (Junior School Year 3)

Reading and Literature: Exploring classic and contemporary literature, poetry, and non-fiction with a focus on analysis and interpretation. Crafting essays, research papers, and creative pieces with a focus on persuasive and expository writing styles. Strengthening public speaking, debates, and collaborative discussions to build confidence and articulation. Mastering linear equations, inequalities, and graphing.

English Language Requirement

York Catholic District School Board will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the school.
