Welcome to the BSc. Social Communication and Public Relations

This program will help you develop a solid foundation in communication and media studies while pursuing an intensive focus on the study of social media and public relations. Acquire research skills, analytical skills and expertise in communicating across multimedia formats with an emphasis on ethics and a commitment to social justice and transformation. The program also includes experiential education and placement opportunities, where you will gain expertise and skills for navigating future career or academic pursuits.
Equip Yourself: Communicate effectively in a variety of formats (oral, visual, textual) using communication and media practices, technologies and platforms appropriate to target audiences. Apply relevant ethical, historical, critical and current communication and media frameworks to understand the sociocultural, political, economic, technological and environmental roles played by media and public relations in society.
Career Path
The Communication Management and Public Relations degree has been designed to help prepare you for a career in a variety of contexts, e.g. integrated communications, public relations, public affairs, management and consultancy. Its broad and varied modules are appropriate for careers in the public, private and voluntary sectors, both local and international.

English Language Requirement

University of Economics and Human Sciences in Warsaw  will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
