About

The BSc. Physical Education (PK–12)is a dynamic and hands-on degree designed for individuals passionate about promoting health, movement, and lifelong fitness among children and adolescents. This program prepares future educators to teach physical education across all grade levels from preschool through high school by combining coursework in kinesiology, exercise science, motor development, and instructional strategies with real-world teaching experiences. Students learn how to design inclusive, developmentally appropriate lessons that foster physical literacy, teamwork, and personal wellness. The curriculum emphasizes on physical activity in cognitive, emotional, and social development. Students explore topics such as anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, adapted physical education, and fitness assessment, while also gaining skills in classroom management, curriculum planning, and educational technology. Fieldwork and student teaching placements provide opportunities to apply theory in diverse school settings, helping students build confidence and refine their teaching style.

English Language Requirement

Concordia University Chicago will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
