Welcome to the BSc. Banking and Finance

BSc Banking and Finance our university provides a thorough grounding in both theory and current practice, including specialist modules in commercial banking, investment banking and risk management. You’ll also develop the analytical, quantitative, research and communication skills required by leading employers in retail and investment banking, the City and financial services more generally.
As well as hearing from industry representatives who will give presentations during your course, you’ll also get hands-on experience in the University’s Bloomberg Lab, a world-leading financial platform that brings real-world economic news, data and analytics to the classroom. You’ll learn to analyse financial markets, value and price financial instruments and employ Bloomberg terminals to assess European and international economies, financial markets and governments.
Our degrees have a modular structure. This means that compulsory modules provide you with the core knowledge and skills that you need, while optional and discovery modules allow you to shape your course to suit your personal interests and career aspirations.

English Language Requirement

University of Kyrenia will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
