An Associate in Arts in Studio
Arts for Transfer (AA-T) from Skyline College is intended for students who are
interested in transferring to a California State University (CSU) campus with a
major in Studio Arts, or similar major. This degree promotes historical and
contemporary perspectives on the creation of art, the ability to analyze and
understand compositional structure, and hands-on skills working in a variety of
media. develop visual literacy through communication, analysis, and reflection
of artworks and the concepts and influences from which artworks originate.
develop physical/technical skills within an art/design based medium to be used
as tools for creative expression. Students completing an AA-T degree are
guaranteed admission to the CSU system, but not to a particular campus or
major. Students transferring to a CSU campus that accepts the AA-T will be
required to complete no more than 60 units after transfer to earn a bachelor's
degree.
