The Doctor of Business Administration with a concentration in Applied Computer Science (ACS) prepares doctoral students with the knowledge and acumen to lead computer science and software initiatives that incorporate relevant, current, and emerging technologies for the purpose of sustaining competitive advantage in a computer science framework. This exciting concentration delves into software engineering concepts, Business Intelligence (BI), analytical tools to support organizational decisions, software security design principles, and examines the virtual world of Human Computer Interaction (HCI). The program emphasizes advanced decision making and leadership skills, as well as in depth knowledge of theory and applied research. Doctoral students have the opportunity to explore the challenges facing business today, including corporate social responsibility, globalization, and managing change.

Graduate student can work up to 20 hours per week and full time during official school breaks and vacations. Post completion Optional Practical Training allows graduates to work for 12 months and STEM graduate are eligible for a 24 month extension.

Westcliff University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
