About This Programme

At Westcliff University, BBA students become knowledgeable about a wide variety of disciplines, including finance, accounting, marketing, operations, sales, and information technology. The concentration in Information Technology provides students the opportunity to learn aspects of Information Technology as they apply to the modern application of IT that utilizes data management, cloud technology, networking and security, and business intelligence for the attainment of organizational goals. Graduates from the IT certificate program will have a strong foundation in IT systems that will enable them to design, maintain, and continuously improve the efficacy of information systems that are aligned with strategic initiatives, and for the purpose of knowledge creation and the sustainability of competitive advantage.

Eligibility Requirements
Post Study Work Visa

Undergraduate student can work up to 20 hours per week and full time during official school breaks and vacations. Post completion Optional Practical Training allows graduates to work for 12 months and STEM graduate are eligible for a 24 month extension.

English Language Requirement

Westcliff University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:

Pre sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
