University Diploma - General Business Studies

The two-year General Business Studies Diploma Program is designed to provide students with a broad range of fundamental business skills and an understanding of the business environment. Many classes are offered in the evening to accommodate part-time students.  The Diploma program requires completion of 10 courses and emphasizes real world business applications in key functional areas. Students may select their elective courses according to the following guidelines for specialization in Business Management or Marketing and have the specialization documented on their transcript. Courses in the certificate program may also be applied towards the Business Management Diploma program at KPU.

English Language Requirement

Kwantlen Polytechnic University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
