Welcome to the Associate of Science (Kinesiology) - Transfer

An Associate in Arts in Kinesiology for Transfer (AA-T) from Skyline College is intended for students who are interested in transferring to a California State University (CSU) campus with a major in Kinesiology, or similar major. Course topics include basic human anatomy and physiology, the field of kinesiology and its sub-disciplines, socio-cultural and historical influences and impacts of kinesiology, athletic injury care, and nutrition. Courses offered are transferable as lower division coursework toward a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. Upon completion of the degree, students will have a solid foundation of knowledge upon which to build in their selected sub-discipline of Kinesiology. Critically analyze anatomical and physiological factors in the development of exercise prescription, prevention and rehabilitation designed to meet individual goals and circumstances. Identify career and / or educational options in Kinesiology and formulate an action plan to successfully pursue and attain those options.

English Language Requirement

Skyline College will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.

If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
