Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management designed to prepare students for careers dedicated to environmental restoration, sustainability, and ecological conservation. The curriculum integrates a diverse mixture of biology, ecology, and management practices. Students examine human impacts on the environment through hands on fieldwork and coursework that brings education out of the classroom. Key experiential learning opportunities include water quality assessments at abandoned mine drainage fields, lake inventorying with seine netting, insect studies, and animal conservation projects like installing bat boxes. The program offers a solid foundation for careers in renewable energy, restoration, and park management, often building upon an associate's degree pathway. Supported by expert faculty and small class sizes, students gain the practical skills and field based knowledge needed to succeed in environmental science professions.

Graduates career paths as natural resource managers, environmental consultants, ecological restoration specialists, and conservation scientists. They secure positions within government agencies, environmental consulting firms, and non profit organizations, managing sustainable ecosystems, protecting natural habitats, or seamlessly transitioning into advanced environmental science degree programs.
F-1 International Student can work up to 20 hours per week and full time during official school breaks and vacations. Post completion Optional Practical Training allows graduates to work for 12 months and STEM graduate are eligible for up to 24 month extension.
