Welcome to the BSc. Construction Management and Design

The technology management: construction management and design degree includes all facets of construction, so you can excel in all aspects of the construction industry, including public, residential, commercial, and industrial structures. As a construction management and design major, you’ll be prepared for technically oriented, mid-management positions. You’ll learn technical aspects including architectural drafting and mechanics of structures and materials as well as management aspects like contracts, building codes, estimating, and project administration. Learn how to manage construction projects, including scheduling, estimating, codes, and contracts. Get hands-on experience utilizing tools and equipment related to residential and commercial construction. Create detailed working drawings for residential and commercial projects using computer-aided design. Get a feel for 'real-world' construction management through an internship. Technology management is a field of study designed to prepare technical and/or management-oriented professionals for employment in business, industry, education, and government. Technology management is primarily involved with the management, operation, and maintenance of complex technological systems, while engineering and engineering technology are primarily involved with the design and installation of these systems.

Career Path

Graduates have a multitude of career options to pursue, working for both public and private sector clients, in specialist and generic consultancy roles.
