Welcome to the BSc. Exploratory/Undecided

As an exploratory student, you’ll be assigned to an academic advisor who can help keep you on track academically as you navigate your academic major decision. Your advisor will help you build a schedule based around your interests and the general education courses you need, so the courses you take count toward your degree. Exploratory Studies is a program that helps students discover the major that best reflects their interests and ambitions. Students are given the space and time to explore, balanced with professional guidance intended to encourage students’ proactive career research and reflection. By starting as an exploratory student, you’ll have access to the tools you need to help you find the right path. If you haven’t decided on a major yet or you have and you’re having second thoughts, you’re in good company. Nearly 25% of Redhawks enter freshman year without a major in mind and nearly 75% change their major at least once. Academic Support Centers offers the university’s tutorial services, community service opportunities, counseling, disability services, Learning Assistant Programs and Student Support Services.
