The Doctor of Business Administration with a concentration in Cybersecurity covers the different cyber threats in today’s digital age and how we can implement the best technical and business security practices to mitigate and counter these risks. Cyber security can be defined in a nutshell, as follows: It is the set of technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, computers, programs, and data from attack, damage or unauthorized access. Cybersecurity knowledge becomes a cornerstone in the development of individuals and teams that are prepared to protect governmental, military, and commercial institutions from cyber attacks. Graduate students will complete one additional graduate level assignment in each course. The program emphasizes advanced decision making and leadership skills, as well as in depth knowledge of theory and applied research.

Graduate student can work up to 20 hours per week and full time during official school breaks and vacations. Post completion Optional Practical Training allows graduates to work for 12 months and STEM graduate are eligible for a 24 month extension.

Westcliff University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
