Our
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mass Communication is a research-intensive degree
that prepares scholars to make significant contributions to the study, theory,
and practice of communication in an ever-evolving media landscape. This program
is designed to provide rigorous training in research methods, communication
theory, and critical inquiry, typically culminating in the production of a
doctoral dissertation that offers original insights into the field. Throughout the program, students engage in advanced
coursework that explores the multifaceted dimensions of mass communication—from
traditional media forms like print and broadcast journalism to emerging digital
platforms and interactive media.
