The Bachelor’s degree programme Financial Management is focused on corporate finance, financial management and the relationships between manufacturing enterprises and the financial sector. It is based on the knowledge of microeconomics and macroeconomics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, accounting, law, taxation and economic and financial management. Specialised courses focus on the fields of financial planning and operational financial management in industrial companies. All of this is based on the application of modern methods and tools of financial management and managerial decision making. Special emphasis is placed on the use of simulations of real decision-making tasks. The programme also respects the marketing, personnel and psychological and social aspects of management. The programme is based on combining theoretical and practical skills. Lecturers often use case studies or interactive management games to allow students to have an in-depth understanding of the given issue. Students gain practical managerial skills not only during their compulsory internships in domestic or foreign companies engaged in international trade, but also in terms of courses which include regular meetings with experts from the field. The fifth semester includes a compulsory internship. to increase the employment opportunities of graduates. Students most often choose Škoda Auto a.s. for their internships as well as other partner companies of Škoda Auto University or foreign companies, primarily within the Volkswagen Group, with the support of the Erasmus+ programme. As a graduate, you will be employed as specialists and coordinators not only in the automotive industry, but also in corporate practice across the economy.

English Language Requirement

Skoda Auto University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
