Welcome to the Associate of Science Degree (Environmental Science) -Transfer

An Associate in Science in Environmental Science for Transfer (AS-T) from Skyline College is intended for students who are interested in transferring to a California State University (CSU) campus with a major in Environmental Science, or similar major. Additionally, this degree allows students to learn the fundamental principles and practices in Environmental Science in order to create a solid foundation and solid preparation that is appropriate for a variety of scientific disciplines. The program will produce students well prepared to transfer to the California State University system to undertake a study of upper division theoretical and/or applied course work in Environmental Science. Use the Scientific Method and apply it to the development of scientific thought. Critically evaluate scientific information in the media and from scientific sources to assess both its credibility and significance and impact on society and the environment.

English Language Requirement

Skyline College will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.

If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
