Bachelor of Science - Post Basic Nursing

Our Bachelor of Science in Post Basic Nursing (PBBN) is a specialized program designed for registered nurses who wish to advance their education and career in the nursing field. This program typically spans 2 years and builds on the foundational knowledge and skills acquired during basic nursing training. It focuses on advanced nursing concepts, leadership, and specialized areas of practice. The curriculum often includes courses in advanced medical-surgical nursing, community health nursing, pediatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, and nursing research. Students also gain hands-on experience through clinical rotations, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world healthcare settings.

Graduates of this program can pursue careers as Nurse Educator,Clinical Nurse Specialist, Community Health Nurse, Pediatric Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Critical Care Nurse, Operating Room (OR) Nurse, Geriatric Nurse, Nurse Manager or Administrator, Public Health Nurse.

English Language Requirement

Sharda University,  will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
