Welcome to the Associate in Science Degree (Business Administration) - Transfer

An Associate in Science in Business Administration for Transfer 2.0 (AS-T) from Skyline College is intended for students who are interested in transferring to a California State University (CSU) campus with a major in Business Administration, or similar major. Describe and apply critical thinking and analytical skills in decision making and problem solving. Assess accounting principles to prepare financial statements. Examine the law and the legal environment as it relates to business operations, including its ethical implications. Evaluate the basics of information technology and apply software applications to enhance efficiency of business functions. Create effective oral and written business communications utilizing modern communication technologies for a diverse workforce. Describe basic economic concepts and how they affect business. Courses in the online AS in Business Administration program will introduce you to business trends and give you exposure to data analytics for business decision-making. You'll also develop soft skills like problem solving, communication and ethics in business.

 Career Path

Throughout the AS in Business Administration program, you'll build business skills employers are looking for. When you graduate, you'll be positioned for jobs as a team lead or business specialist in retail, human resources or various other business environments. Career path includes Marketing Assistant, Account Executive, HR Assistant, Retail Sales Manager, Advertising Sales Agent, Executive Assistant, and Customer Service Representative.

English Language Requirement

Skyline College will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.

If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit
