Welcome to the Associate of Science Degree (Engineering)

Engineering is one of the largest professions in the United States with over one million jobs in fields ranging from airplane design to pollution control. The four largest branches are civil, computer, electrical and mechanical engineering. All engineering branches place a heavy emphasis on problem solving. Engineering education focuses on teaching mathematical, scientific and engineering principles and their application to the creative and effective solution of problems. Apply knowledge of math, science, and engineering or computer science to identify, formulate, and solve engineering/computer science problems. Communicate effectively and work well in situations that require teamwork. Design and perform tests or experiments, analyze and interpret data, and prepare a report summarizing the results of the tests or experiments. Develop a design or system given a set of requirements and specifications. Use techniques, skills, and modern engineering and computer tools necessary for engineering or computer science practice.

English Language Requirement

Cañada College will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
