Our legal predecessor, the Budapest Business School, was established on January 1, 2000, but due to the legal continuity of our predecessor institutions, we can look back on more than 160 years of professional history. In January 2016, our institution continued its educational and research activities as the Budapest Business School - University of Applied Sciences (BBS). In August 2023, our name has changed to Budapest Business University. Three faculties of our university currently operate in Budapest: the Faculty of Commerce, Hospitality and Tourism (FCHT), the Faculty of International Management and Business (FIMB) and the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy (FFA).
