Our
legal predecessor, the Budapest Business School, was established on January 1,
2000, but due to the legal continuity of our predecessor institutions, we can
look back on more than 160 years of professional history. In January 2016, our
institution continued its educational and research activities as the Budapest
Business School - University of Applied Sciences (BBS). In August 2023, our
name has changed to Budapest Business University. Three faculties of our
university currently operate in Budapest: the Faculty of Commerce, Hospitality
and Tourism (FCHT), the Faculty of International Management and Business (FIMB)
and the Faculty of Finance and Accountancy (FFA).
The

Accountancy (FFA). Our market recognition is due to our experience-based,
practice-oriented programme structure adapted to market needs. Our
sustainability efforts, internationalization processes and business-friendly
approach have greatly contributed to BBU becoming the number one business
training university in Hungary.
