All new students who are entering KPU the first time are eligible to apply for the KPU Major Entrance Scholarships which consist of six (6) President's Scholarships of $30,000 each and 12 Merit Awards of $7,500 each.

Exemplary students who have demonstrated outstanding academic accomplishments could qualify for either the President's Scholarship or the Merit Awards. Selection is a competitive process with emphasis on academic achievements. Other factors, such as a personal statement, community involvement, and volunteerism. as evidenced by references, are also considered. The President's Scholarship is awarded over four years of studies and the Merit Award over two terms. Recipients MUST meet the continuance requirements to continue receiving their awards.

KPU International Merit Scholarship ($5,000*)

The Merit Scholarship recognizes and rewards the continuous academic excellence of international students at KPU. Students do not need to apply and are automatically considered for the Merit Scholarship. Recipients are carefully and meticulously reviewed on a number of different criteria including academic performance and program of study.
