Obtain a comprehensive understanding of accounting with our BA (Hons) Accounting degree. This programme delves into crucial areas in accounting that shape society, such as financial accounting, management accounting, and sustainability accounting. You’ll learn about the preparation, presentation, and interpretation of financial information. You’ll also learn how to read and interpret accounting information. You’ll also explore how accounting can be developed to meet the needs of society and provide information to investors. You'll study core accounting and finance subjects, along with economics. You can also complete accreditation requirements for professional accountancy bodies, if you take the required modules, such as taxation and law. The Accounting programme follows a suite of accounting and finance modules, providing a grounding in these subjects, plus economics and business analysis, plus a choice of another introductory business module.

English Language Requirement

Concordia University Chicago will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12-year education, or English is designated as the primary and official language and the principle language of instruction. If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit 

1. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
