Welcome to the BSc (Hons) Audiology

You'll learn the clinical and professional skills you need to become an audiology healthcare professional. We are the only UK university with in-house audiology and auditory implant clinics.
Hearing loss, deafness, tinnitus and balance problems are major health issues and have an impact on quality of life. You’ll learn to manage these conditions and support patients while developing academic, professional and employability skills.
Our programme is designed to maximise your employability and future career opportunities. Courses are created with local employers to ensure you learn industry-relevant skills and are delivered in small classes with regular one-to-one support, covering a range of study skills 
The audiology course teaches you about the biopsychosocial and technical foundations of audiology, as well as the broader scientific, technical, healthcare and professional skills you’ll need from university to become a audiologist.
Our BSc Audiology degree at Aston will equip you with the skills, insights, and confidence required to become a proficient and compassionate audiologist, capable of diagnosing and managing hearing and balance disorders, improving the quality of life for individuals with auditory challenges, and contributing to advancements in the field of audiology.

Admission Requirements

1. WASSCE/A level Certficate (Elective Maths, Physics, Chemistry)

English Language Requirement

Near East University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
