Explore the dynamics of Europe through an interdisciplinary lens and learn about culture, history, economics, politics, law and international relations. You will learn to see Europe as a political and cultural entity with ambiguous and changing borders, where new challenges re-open old discussions on power, representation, and equality.
The BA European Studies provides you with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage with Europe’s complex present and future. For example, you learn how to understand crises affecting Europe in a historical perspective, see how notions of European identity underpin debates on EU enlargement and how economic decisions have shaped the internal market.
Our Program combines a unifying regional focus with a multidisciplinary approach, enabling students to bring together courses that develop their language skills; social, historical, and cultural knowledge; and political, economic, and international relations expertise
