Welcome to the Associate Degree Construction Management

The Construction Management Technology program is designed to prepare students with the foundation needed to meet the current technological requirements of the construction workplace. The program has two tracks, one for those interested in transfer to a four-year college or university to major in Construction Engineering Technology or Construction Management; the other option is for those students already employed in the construction industry or who plan to enter the industry after completion of a certificate or associate degree. The certificate and associate degree curriculum provides students with the industry identified skill competencies for entry into the field.
The construction management Associate of Applied Science degree helps you understand the key aspects of planning, controlling, scheduling, and monitoring the various phases of construction projects. You’ll be introduced to management concepts, materials and handling, building codes, planning and scheduling, and green building trends and technology.

English Language Requirement

College of the Canyons will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, English taken in 12 year education or English is designated as the primary and official language, and the principle language of instruction.
If you do not meet the English language requirements yet, you can achieve the level you need by successfully completing a pre-sessional English programme with the university or submit  

  • English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 (or equivalent) or PTE Score or Duolingo English Test score before you start your course.
