The BSc Business Computing and Data Analytics programme is an interdisciplinary programme which integrates Business Computing and Data Analysis to: provide students with a solid knowledge base and skills in data analytics and its creative application in business organisations, provide students with both excellent data driven problem solving skills and an analytical mind for data analytics solution design, management and planning in business organisations, equip students with vast interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration between IT and business units, equip students with solid knowledge and experience in computing and data analytics projects to support their career developments and further studies in all related fields We designed a programme that will equip you with skills that are highly valued in the IT industry. You will gain experience in using modern software tools that are essential for a career.
Career Path
The programme will prepare students for a range of careers in the field of Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Database, Information Management, System Analysis and Design and IT Project Management as well as a postgraduate study in Business Information Systems Management, Information Security Management, and Data Science. Graduates are likely to follow career paths in roles such as business intelligence expert, data and information analyst, ICT project manager, business consultant and ICT consultant.
Students may work part time for up to 20 hours per week and full time during academic breaks. After graduation, students can transition from student status to legal employment through an employer sponsored two year work permit.

Middlesex University Dubai will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
