Welcome to the BSc Radiology and Imaging Technology

The Department of Radio-Imaging technology under School of Pharmaceutical and health Care Sciences at CT University, Ludhiana (Punjab) offers diagnostic education through wide array of imaging modalities like MRI, CT, DEXA, DSA, USG (3D, 4D), CR, IITV Fluoroscopy, Conventional Fluoroscopy, Stationary X-Ray Units, Portable X-Ray Units and Mammography Unit. The department performs academic activities by the presentation on scientific conferences, seminars and workshops. CBCS (Credit based choice system) classes in collaboration with experienced faculties. Examinations for Diploma and B.Sc. conducted according to the semester system. The department also provides regular updated syllabus and curriculum which is planned in an ordered manner to ensure overall preparation of Radio-Imaging students in form of lectures and clinical training also with newly adopted teaching methodologies likes Student Interactive Session, Seminars, PPT (PowerPoint Presentations Teaching), GD (Group Discussion) and PD (Panel Discussion).
The mission of Radio-Imaging Department is to bring the best technologists with knowledge and latest skills required to handle with the advances in imaging technology  like MRI, CT, DEXA, DSA, USG (3D, 4D), CR, IITV Fluoroscopy, Conventional Fluoroscopy, Stationary X-Ray Units, Portable X-Ray Units and Mammography Units for the various purposes. There is a great demand of technologist who are skilled & competent.
Career Path
Students have the options of pursuing careers in various specializations such as in Bone Densitometry, Basic X-ray, Computed Tomography, Mammography, MRI and more. They get employed as radiation therapy team supervisors, diagnostics radiographers, radiation therapy equipment sales representatives, radiation protection specialists etc.
