Media platforms, their content and their technologies enable us to communicate with each other on a global level. Media is also a powerful tool for corporations and governments. By studying our BA in Media and Communications, you’ll become an expert in the content, technologies and trends that are shaping our world. From the outset, you’ll develop critical thinking skills to better understand the opportunities and challenges that media like film, television, social media and music offer. You’ll explore the differences between media sectors, as well as how our structures of communications can contribute towards forms of inequality.

Undergraduate student can work after they complete their first year at the university up 24 hours a week. Turkish laws allow students who graduate to apply for one year long residence/work permit.

Ibn Haldun University will accept, for the purposes of meeting the English proficiency requirement, evidence of English study within a 12 year education system where English is designated as the primary and official language and the principal language of instruction. For applicants who do not yet meet the English language requirement, there are two pathways to achieve the necessary level:
Pre-sessional English Programme; Students may successfully complete a preparatory English programme offered by the university before beginning their academic course. Recognized English Proficiency Tests; Students may submit one of the following minimum scores prior to the start of their program: IELTS: 6.5 overall band score (or equivalent), TOEFL or PTE: Score of 60, Duolingo English Test: Score of 120.
