Our Banking & Finance MSc course is designed to equip you with a thorough understanding of the many complex and challenging aspects of banking and financial markets, and to develop the expertise needed for a broad range of careers in the finance and banking sectors as well as in multinational financial organisations.
You’ll develop an understanding of the concepts and methodologies of banking practice, an appreciation of the value and limitations of research, and a critical awareness of the current and potential problems facing the industry. You’ll also improve your ability to understand and compile economic reports, company accounts and financial forecasts.

Career path
The programme provides preparation for a career in accounting or in financial institutions by developing skills at a professional level. Whilst graduates of a Masters programme in accounting and banking may obtain employment in a variety of related careers they will also appeal to a wide range of employers in management related areas. Some students would progress into further postgraduate research study in accounting or banking.
